Cancellation & Refund Policy

You can cancel any order before it is shipped for a full refund. Post-shipment cancellations follow our Returns Policy.

1. Cancellation by Buyer

Before Shipping: Orders can be cancelled at any time before the seller ships the product. To cancel, go to My Orders in your account, select the order, and click "Cancel Order". Full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

After Shipping: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled through the Platform. You may refuse delivery when the order arrives, or accept delivery and initiate a return under our Returns & Refund Policy.

Partial Cancellation: If your order contains multiple items, you may cancel individual items before they are shipped without affecting the rest of your order.

2. Cancellation by Seller

In rare cases, a Seller may cancel your order due to: product being out of stock, inability to fulfill the order within the committed timeline, pricing errors on the listing, or quality concerns identified during packaging. If a Seller cancels your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. We also notify you via email and SMS with alternative product recommendations.

3. Cancellation by CoversVilla

CoversVilla may cancel orders in the following circumstances: suspected fraudulent transaction or misuse of the Platform, payment failure or incomplete payment, violation of our Terms of Use, delivery address is unserviceable, regulatory or legal requirements. In all such cases, a full refund is processed if payment was collected.

Refund timelines depend on your payment method. UPI refunds are typically fastest (1-3 business days), while credit card refunds may take up to 7-10 business days depending on your bank.

5. Promotional & Coupon Orders

If you used a promotional discount code or coupon on a cancelled order: the coupon may or may not be reinstated depending on its terms. One-time-use coupons are typically not re-issued after cancellation. Cashback or reward-based promotions will be adjusted accordingly. If a partial cancellation reduces the order total below a promotion threshold, the discount may be recalculated.

6. Cancellation Limits

While we support hassle-free cancellations, excessive or habitual cancellations (especially COD orders) may result in: temporary restriction of COD payment option, account review, or in extreme cases, temporary account suspension. We encourage buyers to confirm product details, size, and availability before placing orders.

7. CoversVilla Wallet Refunds

In certain cases, you may receive your refund as CoversVilla Wallet credit, which can be used for future purchases. Wallet refunds are processed instantly and have no expiry. You will always have the option to request a refund to your original payment method instead.
